Recall from Annual Leave
Officers who have annual leave cancelled will revert back to working whatever length of duty they were on before they took leave and these hours must be accounted for. The unused annual leave goes back into annual leave pot and the day becomes a normal working day. Any overtime earned will be paid at time and a third.
However, if annual leave has been cancelled and it forms part of a period of 3 days off or more (can be a mixture of annual leave and rest days), then by way of compensation the officers may choose whether to receive an additional 8 hours annual leave or 8 hours pay at double time.
