Hotel's 999 deal - A winter boost for emergency services staff

A hotel is giving emergency services staff a bargain winter break by slashing its room prices and offering massages for less than a tenner.

Flackley Ash Hotel, in East Sussex, has launched a special '999 Deal' for police, fire and rescue services personnel, paramedics and ambulance service personnel, as well as coastguard crews, many of whom will be working over the Christmas holidays.

The family-run Georgian country house hotel is offering emergency staff a one-night break for two for just £99.90 - more than 40% off the usual rate. They're also being offered a back massage for £9.99 (usual price £36). The '999 Deal' includes accommodation in a superior room, full English and Continental breakfast, and use of the indoor swimming pool and spa facilities.

Guests just need to bring along some form of emergency services ID when they check in to secure the special rate. The Flackley Ash Hotel '999 Deal' is subject to availability.
