The Worthing & District Branch of NARPO was formed in 1946 and has a current total membership of 422 members including additional members from other branches and widow(er) members.

We are one of six branches in Sussex covering the areas of: Arundel, Ashington, Yapton, Littlehampton, Ferring, Angmering, Durrington, Findon, Lancing, Sompting, Shorham, Southwick and Portslade.

The Branch updates members via email and the circulation of four newsletters annually which includes news of meetings and social events - recent visits have taken place to Bletchley Park and The Houses of Parliament.

Worthing Golf Club is the venue in October and January for branch members to meet up for a lunch or dinner. We usually hold our AGM in April at The Woodlands Centre Rustington which is followed by an enjoyable fish and chip meal. The branch currently provides free diaries to those members requesting one.

We have a Branch Welfare Officer who looks after most aspects of members' welfare and has close links with the Sussex Police Charitable Trust and the Police Rehabilitation Centre "Flint House"

We extend a warm welcome to all retired officers.
